First Shots 

The goal of First Shots is to teach participants firearms safety along with the 7 fundamentals of shooting a handgun. This is an entry-level course and is appropriate for new shooters as well as those who may not have been to the range in a while. (Note: Guns, ammunition and safety equipment are provided for this class.)


​Class Length: 3 hours (Guns, ammunition and safety equipment is provided.)
Prerequisite Class: None required.

Next Shots 

This class revisits firearm safety and fundamentals and discusses equipment needs – both on and off the range, range etiquette, how to make shooting more
fun, how to properly clean your gun, dry-fire practice, other training opportunities and live fire exercises. (NOTE: Participants are encouraged to bring their own
handgun to use in the live fire portion of the class.)

Class Length: 4 hours (Guns, ammunition and safety equipment are available.)
Prerequisite Class: First Shots is highly recommended.

Fundamental Concealed Carry

This introduction to concealed carry offers development of the fundamentals - grip, shooting position, sight picture and sight alignment, breathing, trigger manipulation, follow-through - presentation from the holster; live fire drills include target engagement out to 15 yards, loading and unloading, and malfunction clearing. Training in the Use of Deadly Force and the Law; Color Code of Mental Awareness; ammunition choice and Civil Liability are also discussed.

Prerequisite Class(s): Recommended: First Shots/Next Shots and/or NRA Basic Pistol.

Advanced Concealed Carry

This course focuses on the armed citizen who carries a concealed handgun for personal protection and desires to boost their execution with the handgun in all facets of safe handgun manipulation, and marksmanship. Students will review techniques in context and then focus on their application in tactical situations.
The course includes:
Presenting your handgun while moving
Responding to threats from the side/rear
Responding to threats utilizing non-standard presentation techniques
Shooting from unconventional positions
Situational decision making
Shooting around vehicles and other cover or concealment
Low light techniques using a flashlight
NOTE: This course is an excellent supplement for law enforcement and military personnel who carry concealed off-duty or are required to carry concealed in the course of their duties.

Prerequisite Class(s): Intermediate Concealed Carry or equivalent.

Intermediate Fighting Rifle/Carbine

In this class emphasis is on urban environment improvised position shooting, support-side shooting, weapon transition to a handgun, live-fire scenarios, shooting moving targets, shooting on the move, shooting multiple targets, precision hostage-rescue shooting and more. (Note: Students need to come to class with their rifle zeroed. We will CONFIRM zero only.)

Prerequisite Class(s): Recommended: Fundamental Concealed Carry and 
Fundamental Carbine course or equivalent.

Intermediate Concealed Carry

In this class the student will be exposed to additional tactical shooting techniques as well as exposure to individual tactics. Drills include close contact, response to threats right/left/rear, supported/un-supported kneeling, non-traditional shooting positions, moving and shooting, using cover and concealment, and one- handed operation. In addition, we will discuss tactics and dry-fire practice drills.

Prerequisite Class(s): Recommended: Fundamental Concealed Carry or
equivalent.

Fundamental Fighting Rifle/Carbine

Rifle confrontations globally rarely go beyond 25 yards. Most research shows the rifle will most likely be used just outside the reach of handguns, as well as within Close Quarter Battle (CQB) environments.
Upon completion of this course, you will have the ability to quickly make hits from a variety of shooting positions at ranges out to 100+ yards. Weapon and ammunition selection; ballistics, zeroing, sight adjustments, mechanical hold over,
loading and unloading, carrying/ready positions, and rapid assumption of shooting positions. (Note: Students need to come to class with their rifle zeroed. We will CONFIRM zero only.)

Prerequisite Class(s): Recommended: Fundamental Concealed Carry.

Advanced Fighting Rifle/Carbine

This course will move the student quickly through the basics and expose the methods necessary to deploy a tactical rifle/carbine or submachine gun in conditions from CQB out to 150+ yards. Movement and proactive/reactive weapons manipulations will be stressed. This course is highly recommended for civilians, military personnel, and police operators (no difference in the material presented) who use a rifle for personal protection or while on the job. (Note: Students need to come to class with their rifle zeroed. We will CONFIRM zero only.)

Fundamental Practical Shotgun

This entry-level course provides you with a fundamental understanding of the tactical use of the shotgun. Topics Include: engagement zones, weapon and ammunition selection, tactics, loading and unloading, firing stance, carry positions, patterning, offhand, kneeling, target engagement from 7-25 yards, multiple targets, tactical reloading, select slug drill, malfunction clearing, and more.

Prerequisite Class(s): Fundamental Concealed Carry or equivalent.

Integrated Practical Shotgun

In this class emphasis is on improvised position shooting, support-side transfers and shooting, weapon transition to a handgun, moving targets, shooting on the move, shooting multiple targets, and proactive/reactive manipulations.

Prerequisite Class(s): Fundamental Practical Shotgun.

Recommended: Fundamental Concealed Carry.

Precision Rifle Level 1

A 1-day course for those students who want to learn the basic skills required to make precision first round hits out to 100+ meters. Course contains emphasis on marksmanship, position shooting, range and wind estimation, dialing proper scope adjustments and use of log book.

Prerequisite Class(s): Fundamental Practical Carbine  recommended.

Precision Rifle Level 2

In this 1-day class a review of Precision Rifle Level 1 topics with the addition of reading mirage, hold-over estimation, proper scope adjustments, use of a log book and ballistic cards, and two man (spotter/shooter) teams.

Chaos Combativze

The firearm is not the solution to every confrontation, even if deadly force is justified. When your confines are arms length, drawing a gun may result in the attacker using it against you. When confronted at this distance, simple and effective techniques are key. Aggressive disengagement and creating space to utilize a firearm is preferred. This course will introduce very and effective techniques empty-hand and shooting techniques for close quarter use.
